Anke graduated with honors from the South University’s Master of Science Program specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) from Columbus state university in Georgia and her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Darton State College in Albany, GA.
Anke started her career working as an oncology nurse at the Medical College of Central Ga and a medical surgical nurse at Houston Medical center in warner Robins Ga. She later moved to the Atlanta Ga where she worked as a critical nurse Registered Nurse at Dekalb medical center. Anke is experienced with working with all patient population.
She is certified as a family nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and she is licensed as a registered nurse and a family nurse practitioner. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has worked at the little clinic providing primary and urgent care services to patients. She has also worked with Grady EMS as a community nurse practitioner with the Mobile Integrated Health team were she managed patients from the 911 system by diagnosing and treating them at their homes and connecting them to appropriate community resources.
Her primary focus is to promote health and wellness through appropriate diagnosis, treatment and patient education. It is her goal to help individuals achieve their personal health care goals by working with them in their own comfortable familiar environment.
We (nurse practitioners) realize that you are more than a diagnosis so we focus on your complete well-being. As a nurse practitioner led house call practice, our goal is to provide top quality medical services in the comfort of your home, retirement facility, adult daycare center or anywhere else that you may need us to meet with you. Our goal is to keep you healthier by really getting to know you and seeing you regularly. Our nurse practitioners provide extra time and attention necessary to manage chronic conditions, coordinate care among specialist and supportive caregivers. We make prevention, wellness, and patient education priorities which can mean fewer prescriptions and less expensive treatments. We offer in home non-emergency primary care and we can generally see patients within 24-48 hours of your request.
We also offer urgent care services via House calls by nurse practitioners in collaboration with our medical doctors. Our providers are well trained to assess, diagnose and treat common illnesses. We do not offer emergency services.
